Captain Steve Rogers

 Steve has not been updated to Captain America:  Civil War.  I have not seen the movie and have no plans to update Steve to this point in his canon.  I will play elements of the original comic Civil War if that is requested since I play Steve with comic elements.  

A date was a date, no matter if he'd asked if he was smaller or taller. Though, they'd had to wait until Abraham had decided the changes were permanent before he agreed to let Steve go to the dance.  There had been a few amused looks when Steve had asked how he might have suddenly grown a foot taller and got enough muscle on his skinny frame that people were talking about how he should join the football team. But he trusted Abraham and his reassurances that he wouldn't change back and he could be patient about those 'mysteries' the doctor kept mentioning.

Dressed in his new suit, he fidgeted with the collar of his shirt, avoiding the tie because he knew that he'd end up taking it off if he started playing with it. The clothes fit better than anything he'd ever owned before... he wouldn't embarrass Toni by not being dressed as well as possible for their date. 

Which was another reason why he was nervous. Despite all the offers he'd had, he still didn't know how to dance, unwilling to accept his friends' offers for lessons since he wanted Toni to teach him.

He just hoped he didn't end up ruining her night by stepping on her toes...

This was a bad idea. A really bad idea. If anyone caught them, SHIELD would have him in lock down for weeks. Or on desk duty with Coulson. Either way, Fury would make sure Steve regretted his lapse in sanity.

But Tony swore that no one would ever find out and Steve knew that Tony had enough experience hiding to keep them from being caught. And this was the only way Tony would ever be able to enjoy himself without being self conscious about the reactor.

Taking another, unnecessary look around, he tried not to think of the acres of paperwork that could be in his near future and tried to focus on Tony. "You sure you want to do this?"

I am back from the con, which was awesome.  I'm slowly getting back into tagging so things should get back to normal soon.

I just thought I'd post a little heads up to announce I'm going on hiatus for a few days.  I'm going to be off at a con, fangirling over everything Cap related I can find.  I'll be back in a few days but I don't know when I'll get back to tagging.  Monday, probably.  Anyway, I'll see you all then.  Have a great weekend!
